The collection is about the return to the origin - the origin of making garments “from the yarn” which refers to the past and why certain clothes are still preserved and valued today and to the place where I grew up, where I re-collaborate with the craftsmen who are still devoted to remarkable textile crafts such are hand-weaving and hand-knitting. While creating this collection I focused on slower pace, fewer pieces produced, patience and collaboration. Fabrics are handwoven and by the selection of yarns and their combination, unique character of fabric is created for each garment. Fabrics are woven for the cut of a garment, producing minimal production waste. Garments are less worn over the time, preserve their shape and can be easily versatile.
